What Is Vibe Coding?

According to Wikipedia: "Vibe coding (or vibecoding) is an approach to producing software by depending on artificial intelligence (AI), where a person describes a problem in a few sentences as a prompt to a large language model (LLM) tuned for coding. The LLM generates software based on the description, shifting the programmer's role from manual coding to guiding, testing, and refining the AI-generated source code. Vibe coding is claimed by its advocates to allow even amateur programmers to produce software without the extensive training and skills required for software engineering."

Enterprise Vibe Coding means vibe coding for enterprises, which typically have very high demands on security, reliability, scalability, compliance and integrations.

The Challenge: Revolutionize The Development Of In-House Mission-Critical Apps

In this hackathon you will build a prototype of an in-house app for a mission-critical process, such as employee onboarding, customer relationship, resource planning, supply chain and logistics management, field service, approvals and exceptions.  

Most companies still manage their internal processes with lots of spreadsheets, different apps and even email. The problems with these approaches include manual errors, inefficient workflows, difficulty to get a good overview and dependency on key persons.

By leveraging Vibe Coding, businesses can rapidly build tailored software solutions that streamline operations, reduce errors, and centralize all data in one place, without being dependent on internal IT for building, maintaining and adapting the solution.
